TIP 1

Check destination safety!

I am always “planning” my next trip, and I am currently hitting bumps in the road. Too many bumps and wheelchairs are never good!

My travel tip today may be obvious, scary/depressing or just not needed – but it is informative! It is 2024 and ANYTHING could happen! You should always see if the destination is safe or at least not in a state of emergency.

Obviously, I would not recommend traveling to the Gaza Strip right now. Or Reykjavik, Iceland because of the active volcano.

I’d think twice about Canada or China because of this trade war someone started.

Update: Mr. President is turning the world against, so I may stick with traveling the states for now!

You cannot always predict protests and riots or natural disasters, but the US State Department does rank countries as follows (click to review the full list):

·Level 1: Exercise Normal Precautions

·Level 2: Exercise Increased Caution

·Level 3: Reconsider Travel

·Level 4: Do Not Travel

Just be aware, the state of the world is ALWAYS changing.

No matter how good the deal is, just think twice! I know how hard it is to wait, but it just opens the space to travel somewhere new! Domestically or internationally.
